Why would you need faith if you had no doubt? Is it sorta like adreineline?
60I think some would argue that you have no doubt BECAUSE you have faith. As far as adrenaline goes, adrenaline often kicks in during life and death situations. It gives a person superhuman strength and speed in an effort to survive or to save someone else. The affects of the adrenaline often mask feelings of fear because there's no room for feelings of fear in a flight or fight situation, but that does not mean that the fear is not there. Likewise, just because you have faith does not necessarily mean that you cannot have doubt, the doubt is simply masked or overpowered by the faith.

What confuses me about faith is that besides religion, what in society uses it?
Scientists don't meet every Tuesday and chant that gravity exists because they are confident through logic that it does.
I believe that it isn't adrenaline that they create by having faith rather faith creates an absence of fear. A fear that nothing exists after death, a fear that their beliefs are wrong or a fear that not having faith will result in suffering an eternity of hell.
Just my 2c.
Well, I would say that scientist have a lot of faith, everytime they make a hypothosis, everytime they are looking for a certain result, and everytime they need someone to fund their idea. I think it takes a bit of faith.
interesting word play Miss B.

Or some could argue that I have have no doubts, so what would be the purpose of faith?
So I guess the next question would be, how do you define faith?
Or someone could argue that I have no faith because I have no doubt.
And my sentiments exactly about the adrenieline. It causes you to react, usually in effect to fear, or elation. So what does that say about life and faith?
